CLASSES

Dream Circle

When we gather for a Dream Circle at The Dream Studio,  we share dreams and honor our dreams to solve problems, see more clearly and explore different realities. Utilizing the methods of Active Dreaming developed by Robert Moss, we find the guidance our dreams offer and help one another along the best paths for our lives. These sessions are open to newcomers as well as more experienced dreamers. It is $20 for those who have not previously attended a Robert Moss workshop; $10 for those who have attended one of Robert's workshops and no charge or love offering for those who have attended two or more RM workshops.

Please email me at karendreamrider@gmail.com if you would like to attend.

Personal Totem

TALISMAN TIME:  A workshop to create your own sculpture of a spirit or animal power in high fire ceramics and mixed media.

I will work with you to design, sculpt and finish an image that evokes the presence of  an angel or animal guardian you feel close to. This is one way of taking action to honor your dreams; dreams of the night or your waking dreams. These actions bring the inner and outer worlds closer together which enlivens both worlds. In doing so we are reminded of the deeper currents of our lives. Having an image of a guardian or guide can help us remember more of who we are and our connections to other realities.

Cost: $180 includes clay, glaze, firing, studio time, instruction and other materials.
10 hours of instruction scheduled by request.
Limit: 6 participants at one time

Horse Training and Riding Instruction

I am available on a limited basis to do some horse training and teach beginning dressage. I employ the methods of natural horsemanship along with classical dressage and emphasize the development of a positive and respectful bond between the horse and owner. Horses must know that their humans are both strong and safe before they will give us their cooperation. I am presently certified in Universal Horsemanship by Dennis Reis. I have ridden with Pat Fitzgerald for 10 years and clinic regularly with Janet Foy, FEI Judge. Horses are naturally therapeutic and help us know who we are.

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.  ~Winston Churchill
