Oil Paintings

The beauty of nature provides the inspiration for my paintings so my work tends to be representational. I like to paint interpretive landscapes often adding some figurative elements. I also enjoy painting animals and portraits. My paintings feature qualities of brightness, high contrasts and light effects and I have often been called a colorist. I have lately enjoyed experimenting with a bit of abstraction using lots of movement with fluid curves. I hope my art makes people smile, feel uplifted and inspired. For me, making art is an expression of my soul and a way of paying homage to the exquisiteness of the Creation.
